Managing Editor: Sandy Pool
Sandy Pool is a Canadian poet. Her first book Exploding into Night was a shortlisted nominee for the Governor General’s Award for English language poetry at the 2010 Governor General’s Awards. Her work has also appeared in the anthology Writing Without Direction: Ten and a Half Short Stories by Canadian Authors Under Thirty (Clark-Nova Books, 2010).
Pool holds a degree in English and theatre performance from the University of Toronto, and an M.F.A in creative writing from the University of Guelph. Currently she is a doctoral student in Canadian literature and creative writing at the University of Calgary.
Assistant Editor: Heather Osborne
Heather Osborne is a speculative fiction prose writer. Her short stories have been published in the anthologies Call of the Dark and The Perfect Valentine (Bella Books), and she has been a four-time finalist in the Robyn Herrington Memorial Short Story Contest. She is an associate editor of Foundation: the International Review of Science Fiction.
Osborne has earned undergraduate degrees in English and Sociology from the University of Calgary, and an MA in Science Fiction Studies from the University of Liverpool. She is currently a doctoral student in the Creative Writing program at the University of Calgary.
